Love is Good (a reading)
by Josh Drimmer
Directed by Tom Wojtunik
Feb. 12 at 2pm ($5)

(tickets only available day of show at the door)

It's the not-so-distant future and The Boxhead Quartet is a band on the verge of making it big. But a growing wave of anti-robot sentiment is sweeping the nation. This has lead Bob (the humanoid drummer and genius songwriter responsible for the trio's twenty-eight second radio smash) into a desperate fit of very human depression. Can the rest of the band put their artistic differences aside? Are listeners ready to accept a robot rock band? Or, will the prevailing traps of ego and bigotry once again rule the day? Love is Good is a bizarre skewering of rock culture that also serves as a satiric morality play...Maybe.
