The Herd (followed by Guest Artists)
Emanuel Bocchieri (Director, Robert and the Dawn) has directed all over the world in every century. 500 years ago, he met a fine lass named Priscilla and 3000 years later they had a child and named her Sophia. Tomorrow, he will sink into the mud and eventually be discovered by scientists and named the 8th Wonder of the World. They'll realize the revolution he started as co-founder of Feed the Herd Theatre Company and probably forget it as soon as it hits the headlines. Past FTH directing credits include: Blackstocking Jenkins, Zoo Human, 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, Prints (Dismember), The King Stag, The Blank Line, Tequila Dreams, OBJECTS, Eightball, and Paramus.
Metha Brown (Famine—The Iron Horsemen 6:11) a graduate of Marymount Manhattan’s BFA program, appeared with the Stampede Festival last as Mary, the incessantly giggling school girl, in Platonov! Platonov! Platonov!. Other appearances at the Trilogy Theatre include in NeoPack’s production of After Wednesday, and Blunt Theater’s production of Seeking Eden. Other roles across the city have included Lainie Wells in Two Rooms, Baobansithe in The Skriker, "A" in Samuel Beckett’s Rough for Theater II, Rose in Len Jenkin’s A Country Doctor, and Cecile in Dangerous Liaisons, among others. Next released will be The Laundroddysey, an indescribable music and movement DVD on the Kill Rock Stars label directed by Dana Edell. She is pleased to have sufficiently survived enough of the Herd’s hazing to be asked to join the rollicking madness as one more broad branded for their kind of theatre. She thanks all her many muses for their daily doses of creative living. She would also like to give her fiery furnace hot hatred of our presidential puppet as a gift to Jermaine and Brian for their vision, passion, and this opportunity.
Heather Carmichael performed last year in Herd shows Fragments of Ricky the Superhero and Platonov! Platonov! Platonov! or The Case of a Very Angry Duck by Eric Michael Kochmer. Prior to that she studied in Dublin at Joe Dowling's Gaiety School of Acting and drink some Guinness, and not necessarily in that order. There, she acted in To Be Confirmed, an original show that ran in Dublin's Project Arts Center- where she played a super-fly-bi rock star. Previous work in New York includes Spoon River Anthology (Various Roles) and Toybox Wetbar (Barbie). She'd like to thank Will Ferrell for getting her through another day, cause "smiling is (her) favorite" too.
Matthew Hanley (Robert, Robert and the Dawn) is privileged to work again with FTH. Do you remember that time he played Grimaldi in Tis Pity She's a Whore? That was good. He spat in his own hand!? And how bout that time he played Buddha, the Enlightened One? That was good, too. And not so mean. He has played other roles outside FTH, from Iago, to Berowne and even Romeo?!? He is most thankful to have worked with this sterling group on Robert and the Dawn. They are completely spot-on, and if you knew better, you should be jealous of my time with them. Thanks to them and to my family (they made me).
Kevin Kaine (James, Robert and the Dawn) is a native New Yorker. Original member of Feed the Herd Theatre Company and a member of Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. He has been in productions such as, Tis' Pity She's a Whore (Soranzo), Othello (Cassio), Women of Manhattan (Bob), Platonov! Platonov! Platonov! or The Case of a Very Angry Duck (Osip) by Eric Michael Kochmer, Dark Days and its re-imagining Dark Dizayz (Mr. Lucky; Kaine also wrote these scripts) and The Madhouse in Mantua or Romeo's Magical Dream (a one-man show version of Romeo and Juliet, which Kaine co-wrote with the Bard). He also enjoys short walks, strolls to his kitchen and sitting in his room. Now ready to live out the remaining days of his life wrapped in a quilt of madness, he has chosen to slowly pass during the course of the run of this festival. So, he would like to give thanx to Dracula for all the good times, Ma Dukes, EM the Hillbilly of the Vill, Talkalot the walking Carmichael, the wondrous Juliet and all the little people who will soon stand and be heard. The Kaine is dead, long live the Kaine. Another brick baby. Live life, Love righteous.
Eric Michael Kochmer (playwright — Robert and the Dawn) who is just a simple farm boy, has performed at many theatres in New York City, including the Culture Project, Theatre for the New City, Teatro La Tea, and La MaMa E.T.C. In the past three years, the Herd has produced seven of his plays, most of which he has also performed in. His play Platonov! Platonov! Platonov! or The Case of a Very Angry Duck, which was one of the headlining productions of Stampede Fest 2004, has recently been published in the Plays and Playwrights 2005 anthology. Kochmer stars in Anthony Ferraro’s feature film "Everything Unspoken" and will soon be appearing in several other features and short films. Eric thanks his beautiful, wonderful girlfriend for putting up with a madman and would also like to send a shout out to bacon. "Thanks, bacon, I never would have gotten here without your shiny, luscious, greasy charm."

She's enormously grateful to Kevin for creating such a brilliant script, to Brian for all the inspiration, and to Dan, Patrick, Varick, & Darren for just all being so damn fabulous. Oh, and of course to God. Yes, thank you all.

Anne Catherine Hundhausen (Schkank) is a dreamer and likes to act out onstage to save money on therapy. Some may remember her, but probably not, from her days in Chicago where she was seen singing and high-kicking it in various musical theatre classics. She also likes to spend hours and hours geekily editing videos on her Mac and pretend that she is a famous Hollywood moviemaker. Anne Catherine can also be seen in the resident improv ensemble, How Bazaar, which performs regularly at Gotham City Improv.

Deborah Miller (puppeteer, Robert and the Dawn) is a newbie to the Herd group. She began her journey with the Herd designing a postcard for the show Fragments of Ricky the Superhero. Then she felt the itch to extend her talents into other areas of interest such as acting and puppeteering. Deborah is originally from Colorado and meandered into the City to follow her dreams and aspirations. She seeks to push the boundaries everyday with herself and those around her. Currently Deborah is an Art Director/Production Manager for a book publishing company, is a freelance graphic/web designer and dabbles in various other creative projects on a daily basis.
Kelly Moylan (Schkank) is an actor and improvisor, which makes her an exceptional liar. Kelly is also a singer/songwriter performing regularly with her band, mavis jay. Really.

Jesse Ann Pirraglia (stage manager, The Iron Horsemen 6:11) has recently made the jump from television and radio to the theatre. While in college, she participated in radio plays such as Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas, as the voice of Cindy Lou Who, produced by WSIA 88.9 FM and was heard through-out New York City as the abducted 10 year old girl for the Sergeant's Benevolent Association Bloomberg-bashing radio commercial produced by Time Warner Cable. Jesse was frequently heard over the radio waves of WSIA 88.9 FM while producing and engineering for their Production Department. Jesse would like thank her parents for their support and understanding, and David's mommy Janet Galasso for being crazy insane and instilling her wonderful craziness in her son. She would especially like to thank Brian Snapp for giving her the chance to participate in this production.
Ollie Rasini (puppeteer, Robert and the Dawn) is a freshly graduated theatre major from Brown University, Providence, RI. This is her first show outside La MaMa ETC, and her second engagement as a puppeteer. She has been living in New York for six months and is, reportedly, still bright-eyed.

Meryl is a proud member of Schank where she writes and performs sketch comedy. Some day Meryl hopes to fall down a flight of stairs, collect disability and be able to audition for professional theater jobs. Until then, you can find her at Gotham City Improv as well as other comedy venues in NYC.
Brad Schenker (Schkank) has been performing sketch and improv comedy for the past 3 years and involved with the theater for over 10. Besides his work with Schkank, he performs with the long-form improv troupe Shampoo, Rinse, Repeat and is currently co-producing the group’s show Threat Level: Orange. His ultimate goal is to make the In Memoriam tributes at the end of the Oscar and Emmy telecasts, which means he must have at least been important to someone important. Brad hails from the two cornerstones of the United States, Cleveland and Buffalo.
David J. Smith III (Pestilence, The Iron Horsemen 6:11) is a fan of humorous, non-sensical bios, but since Manny already did that, let's just say that DJS3 was a castmember in the first FTH production ever, went on to achieve mediocrity in Los Angelas as a gameshow producer for MTV, joined the Army on September 11th, served as a Broadcast Journalist (see Good Morning, Viet Nam), and most recently was seen reporting the news for a tiny little TV station on Staten Island (Shao Lin represent, yo). He has collaborated with director Brian Snapp on several projects including the musical combos The Sea Monkeys and The Slithy Toves, productions of Pteradactyls and whatever Brian's directing project was, and Sharkey's Night. David would like to thank his Mommy for giving him impossible expectations to live up to; the Pirraglia's for producing such a lovely little girl and for giving him a home away from his own; and Brian for leading the Herd and allowing so many to indulge in so much. He would like to dedicate his performance to Jesse and the rest of his life (or until she gets sick of me) to making her happy.
